Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş, who was appointed as the Rector of our university by the discretion of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Presidential Decree published on May 16, 2025, received his certificate of appointment at a ceremony held at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). During the ceremony, where the certificate was presented by the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Rector Karataş expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for entrusting him with this responsibility. He also stated that they would lead Çankırı Karatekin University into the future in a manner worthy of the Century of Türkiye.
