A preparatory meeting was held for departments applying for program accreditation.

Our Quality Coordination Office held a preparatory meeting on September 17, 2025, for departments applying for program accreditation in 2025. The meeting was presented by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demirel on behalf of the Coordination Office.
The meeting was attended by the relevant Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments applying for accreditation, their assistants, and quality-accreditation representatives. General information about program accreditation was provided, along with information on the necessary procedures to be completed before the site visit and the necessary precautions to be taken during the site visit.
In this context, reminders were provided regarding the content of the digital archives created by the departments applying for program accreditation, the status of their websites, and assessment and evaluation methods. Specific emphasis was placed on the activities of advisors, the functioning of the committees, and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Our institution currently has undergraduate programs in Information and Document Management, Geography, Mathematics, and Business Administration, all of which have received program accreditation. Among the associate degree programs, the First and Emergency Aid, Banking-Finance, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, and Occupational Health and Safety Programs were accredited. A total of 19 departments applied for program accreditation in 2025.
